The new edition of the North Carolina Foundations for Early Learning and Development (NC FELD) was released in 2014 and teachers are putting it to use in the classroom. Attend this 5 hour training session and learn how NC Foundations is structured, how you can use it in your classroom to develop meaningful, developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities, and how you can engage your parents in their child’s education. This training is appropriate for teachers of infants, toddlers, preschoolers, children with special needs, and half-day programs.
Please bring a copy of the NC Foundations book with you to use for activities during the training as well as a completed lesson plan for your classroom.

Credit: 0.5 CEUs (You must attend the entire training in order to receive credit)
Light snacks will be provided. There will be an hour lunch break to allow participants time to go have lunch at nearby restaurants and return to the training.
