Darkness to Light Stewards of Children training is a 2 hour training in the prevention of child sexual abuse. The primary goal of this training is to not only raise awareness about this issue but provide skills and tools that can be used to protect children from sexual abuse. This training will teach participants how to implement effective prevention policies, recognize signs of sexual abuse in children, and react responsibly if abuse occurs. This training is for all community and agency members including churches, law enforcement, DSS, school personnel, provider agencies, foster care families, parents, etc. who want to learn more about preventing and ending child sexual abuse.
Smoky Mountain LME/MCO is pleased provide the training and workbook at no additional cost to you.

*Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the training event so there is ample time to complete the registration process and the training can begin promptly. Also, note that if you register for the training event and are unable to attend, you MUST contact CCR&R prior to the scheduled training event to cancel or you will be liable for the registration costs.
