Masks are required in the building.
Presenter: Roxanna Pepper, Early Childhood Program Consultant, CCR&R
Training will emphasize the distractions that result from children sitting in one position for lengthy periods of time. We will explore ways to allow children to move, and introduce activities to help them move and still focus on objects of learning. Attendees will reflect on personal ways of learning/movement from their own lives and experiences. There will be opportunities to share ideas for smooth transitions among activities and ways to use movement for enhanced learning. The training will address all areas of early childhood curriculum and share examples of activities “in action” which expand learning in all fields.
