Nicole Dowdeswell, Behavior Intervention Volunteer  

and Community Services background, specializing in Birth to Kindergarten children allowing the Center to expand our much needed Behavior Intervention Services. In today’s harsh and unsure economy, the “Volunteer/Professional Staff Partnership” tandem of Ellen and Nicole ensures that the Children & Family Resource Center is able serve and to respond to the special needs of children in Henderson County.

Volunteering can add EIGHT years to your life.  Extend your life span and enjoy the extra years by Volunteering with the Children and Family Resource Center . Volunteer Opportunities at the Center include; Reading to Preschoolers, Reception & Office Duties Assistance, Resource Library Assistance, Adolescent Parenting Program Assistance, Bulk Mailing Assistance, Special Event Planning.  Volunteers provide enhancement of programs, and the friendly and smooth delivery of services. Volunteers are connected to needs within each of the Center’s program and service areas, including administration.
