Bequests

A bequest could be the most important gift you make in your life and is one of the simplest ways to support the Children & Family Resource Center. You can provide now for a future gift to the Children & Family Resource Center by including a bequest provision in your will or revocable trust. The advantage of a gift in a will is that it costs nothing now and it can be changed at any time. It is a simple process but it does require the assistance of an attorney.

For a specific bequest: “I hereby give and bequeath $_____ from my estate to the Children & Family Resource Center of Henderson County, Inc., a Hendersonville, North Carolina not-for-profit corporation, for its general purposes.

For a remainder gift: “I give and bequeath all (or ___%) of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate to the Children & Family Resource Center of Henderson County, Inc., a Hendersonville, North Carolina not-for-profit corporation, for its general purposes.
