Each year the Children & Family Resource Center depends on the generous support of individuals, civic groups, businesses and churches to provide unrestricted funds that support the overall operations of the agency and providing a strong foundation for program success.
Brooke, 16 and five months pregnant, heard about the Adolescent Parenting Program through a friend. Realizing there was so much uncertainty regarding her future plans she turned to the Children & Family Resource Center for help.
Teen pregnancy, is difficult at best, but Brooke is persevering, she is staying in school, and beating the odds that predict most teen moms will drop out of school and live a life of poverty.
Giving back by making a donation to the Children & Family Resource Center was a way Brooke decided to say thank you for all the help and support she is receiving.
Today, Brooke has hope for her future. “If the program weren’t here, a lot of girls would drop out of high school. I know I woudl have without it.”
