We would like to thank all the Early Childcare Providers, the Sponsors, Presenters, and Volunteers who made the 2013 Week of the Young Child Conference a huge success! 

We had over 250 people attend this year
and enjoy 17 sessions including special tracks
for School Agers and Creative Curriculum.
Our goal is to provide an affordable way for providers to obtain training credit, network with other providers, and learn or refresh knowledge that benefits the children in their care.

Hear how a community in Guatemala has worked together to establish a Reggio inspired school for their children in order to provide a safe, and appropriate, place for their children to be while they are at work. Learn how the community is coming together to improve their ability to be economically stable and independent while supporting the strong cultural history of the Mayan people. Discuss the opportunities and challenges of the center, including topics such as reading and writing in Mam (their maternal language), the role of culture & spirituality, relationships with the parents in the home and in the program, health and nutrition, documentation, and evaluation.
