Parent & Providers 

• Referrals and assistance for families needing child care.

• Information regarding quality child care issues and the Division of Child Development’s licensing regulations

• Lending Library with books, videos, toys, and games on loan to families and providers.

• Recruitment and assistance for new Family Child Care Home and Center Providers

• Maintain a complete listing of child care  facilities in the area

• Provide information to assist the parent in making good child care choices

• Monthly newsletter for providers that includes information for parents.

• Training opportunities or technical assistance to parents and providers regarding quality child care, child development, and discipline.

• Technical assistance for providers  on how to attain a star rated license.

• Information for parents and providers regarding school readiness and kindergarten transition.

• Behavior intervention program to assist parents and providers with issues related to behavior and social-emotional development.

• Child advocacy on a local, state, and national level.
