  UNITED AGENDA FOR CHILDREN

...the United Agenda for Children is an innovative coalition of citizens, civic leaders, businesses, government and community agencies who have united to make sure every child in Henderson County is safe, healthy and well-educated.

CFRC Advocates for the kids....so can you!

Since 2006, CFRC and other agency representatives have been collecting local, state, and national data that will help us answer the following 5 questions about kids in Henderson County.

1.)  Are our children born healthy and do children stay healthy and well?

2.)  Are children living in a safe and stable home?

3.)  Are children living in a safe and supportive community?

4.)  Are children ready for school and succeeding in school?

5.)  Are youth prepared for adulthood?

To find answers to these questions, we researched data that met certain criteria:

1.)   data must come from a reliable source

2.)   data must be easy to understand

3.)   data must be based on credible research

4.)   data must be easily found by the average citizen

These findings and results will be published and made available to the public.  This report has led to SPEAK OUT FOR KIDS to be held on Saturday, October 20, 2007 from 8 AM to 4 PM at North Henderson High School.  Click here for the link to the United Agenda for Children website:  www.unitedagendaforchildrenhc.org
