The CHAMPIONS FOR CHILDREN CIRCLE recognizes friends of the     Children and Family Resource Center who have given a gift of $5,000 or more to help build our new home or fund our programs.

"One Hundred years from now... it won't matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove; but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child."

Benefits of Circle Membership

As CHAMPIONS FOR CHILDREN members, participants will enjoy the personal satisfaction

of knowing that their generous gift does so much for the families of Henderson County .

We realize that those who offer such tremendous donations, such as Circle members, do so

out of deep philanthropic convictions; however, we still strive to show our appreciation in several ways:

* Recognition on the CHAMPIONS FOR CHILDREN donor wall in our new building.

* Recognition at an an annual CHAMPIONS FOR CHILDREN social event.

* A CHAMPIONS FOR CHILDREN pin commemorating your contribution.

* Recognition in the Times-News for participation in the CHAMPIONS FOR CHILDREN

in your donor level of giving. (Of course, any donor may remain anonymous if they so choose).

* Eligibility for the CHAMPIONS FOR CHILDREN Leadership Award.

Champions for Children support the Center's programs and the County's Children:

* We create peace of mind through Child Care Resource & Referral. Offering technical assistance

and training, CCR&R is helping to open new childcare facilities, as well as improve programs

already available. Now parents have more quality care choices for their children.

* We create loving parents and family stability through programs such as PAT (Parents as Teachers),

APP (Adolescent Parenting Program), WINS (Women in Need of Support), and our Respite Care

Program. Offering opportunities for education, peer support, and professional advice, these programs give hope and strength to families.

*We create community partnerships with multiple agencies and resources so that children and families may come to one place and benefit from a multitude of local services, including the Department of Social Services Child Care Subsidy and Henderson County Partnership for Children.
