On-Site Partners

The Children & Family Resource Center partners with the Henderson County Department of Social Services and Smart Start of Henderson County to provide services to families in one convenient location.

 

Henderson County Department of Social Services Child Care Subsidy Program - provides funding to support the cost of child care. The families served are the “working poor” who include a large number of single mothers and families working to become independent of welfare.

Smart Start of Henderson County - provides funding to various agencies, organizations, and institutions in Henderson County who provide needed services to children ages 0-5, and their families.

 

The Children and Family Resource Center Partners with United Way’s 2-1-1 program to better connect children and their families with the services available in our community. 

 

United Way’s 2-1-1 of WNC is a free, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, community services information and referral line serving Henderson, Buncombe, Transylvania and Madison Counties.   

Dial 2-1-1  to speak with a trained referral specialist with multi-lingual capabilities who can help link you to community services and volunteer opportunities.
